Mini Mondays - August/ September pre-schoolers workshop program

Reverse Garbage is offering parents and children 3 to 5 years of age a weekly program of fun and creativity in our workshops space here in West End. Each week we will run the class twice from 10am to 10:45am and 11:30am to 12:15pm. The program is designed for both parent and child participation, with a focus on fun and enviromentally-friendly activities.

When the workshop is finished you can relax across the street with the other children and parents at West End Park Cafe. They have provided coffee and cake vouchers for $5.50 to be used on workshop days only.

There is a maximum of six children and six adults per activity. Workshops need to be paid in full upon booking to secure a place. The cost is $15 per child.

New arts workshop van

We’re very excited to let you know that Reverse Garbage now has a second brand-spanking-new vehicle - who would ever have thought? Our new van was proudly funded by the Queensland Government's Gambling Community Benefit Fund, who provided $22,732 towards the purchase our new Ford Transit van.

Our workshop facilitators will be making use of our new vehicle to travel to school and festival workshops. In between times, we will use the van for local deliveries, collections and to post off barrels of exciting materials to rural schools and kindies.
