Friends of the Earth - Brisbane.  Friends of the Earth (FoE) - Brisbane is a social justice and environmental organisation that works towards a more socially equitable and environmentally sustainable future through community action. The Logan Recycling Market collects and sells unwanted materials rather than send them off to landfill. Green PC recycles computers into usable Internet ready systems, making them available to low-income communities, individuals and community organisations. They have centres in both Brisbane (07 3255 8300), Victoria, Western Australia and the ACT. www.greenpc.com.au.

The Bower Re-use and Repair Centre Co-operative in New South Wales is a community based co-operative that diverts unwanted household goods away from landfill to get them back in to the community. They are located next door to RG in Sydney. www.bower.org.au
