Mail orders
We mail our exciting materials anywhere in Australia. Lots of schools and kindies use our mail order service as an interesting, inexpensive and environmentally responsible alternative to mainstream art and craft supplies.

Standard list
- small barrel of mixed or themed materials. These heavy cardboard barrels are approximately 38cms in diameter and 50cms high and are packed with a range of typical Reverse Garbage materials, depending on what we have in stock at the time. You can let us know if there are particular types of materials you would like in your mixed barrel. We can also pack themed barrels for you on the following topics:
- sci-fi
- under sea
- treasure boxes
- junk jewellery
- weaving
- paper sculpture
- trains, planes and automobiles
- wearable art.
- medium barrel of mixed materials. The same as above except the dimensions are approximately 40cms in diameter and 60cms in height. Cost is $100 for Queensland, $110 for New South Wales, $120 for Victoria and $130 for elsewhere in Australia
- large barrel of mixed materials. The same as the small barrels except the dimensions are approximately 40cms in diameter and 74cms in height. Cost is $130 for Queensland, $140 for New South Wales, $150 for Victoria and $160 for elsewhere in Australia
- 3kg packs of small mattboard offcuts. These packs contain a range of colours and are small pieces from 5cms x 10cms up to 10cms x 20cms in size. $30 posted anywhere in Australia
- 3 kg packs of small fabric offcuts and samples. You can choose between packs containing mainly upholstery fabric and others containing mainly bridal silk offcuts. $50 posted anywhere in Australia
- 3 kg packs of small plastic shapes and discs. These packs are great for collage and contain a range of different colours, shapes, sizes and materials. $42 posted anywhere in Australia
- 3 kg packs of cork discs. These discs are a mixture of natural cork and synthetic rubber. They are 8cms in diameter. $42 posted anywhere in Australia
- 3 kg packs of black rubber shapes and discs. These discs range in size from 1.5cms in diameter to 8cms in diameter. You can choose a pack containing one size only or we can send a mixture of sizes. $42 posted anywhere in Australia
- 3 kg packs of canvas offcuts. These packs contain a range of colours and sizes which are great for making bags and doing small upholstery projects. $42 posted anywhere in Australia
- 3 kg packs of vinyl offcuts. These packs contain a range of widths and lengths. We include different types of vinyl and the usual colours are blue, white, red and green. Other colours such as orange, pink and black depend on what is in stock at the time. $28 posted anywhere in Australia
Payment methods
Mail Orders to schools within Queensland can be invoiced or pre-paid. All mail orders outside of Queensland must be pre-paid. You can do this:
- by credit card over the phone on 07 3844 9744 or
- by sending a cheque made out to Reverse Garbage Co-operative Ltd to PO Box 5626 West End 4101 or
- by direct deposit into our bank account -- please email us at info@reversegarbage.com.au and we can send you our bank details.
